Amoré Gallery

The storefront where Amoré Gallery now stands was called Lafave Studios Ltd in the late 1990s and was the studio and gallery where Evelyn painted and exhibited her large-scale Abstract Landsape Paintings for several years. Kate founded Amoré Gallery, Cleveland in 2017 in the same space on Murray Hill in Cleveland’s Little Italy District. It became a flagship exhibition space for her evolving style of painting varying from abstract, to pop, contemporary impressionism and portraiture. Passersby enjoy the rotating window display that Kate proudly arranges according to what she is currently exploring in her studio. Kate invited Evelyn to return to the space in 2020 and since then, the two artists have collaborated on exhibitions near and far and on creating their textile brand EVELYN & KATE.

Amoré Gallery is well positioned in the heart of Cleveland’s Little Italy and University Circle, the home of Cleveland’s cultural museums and institutions. Parades and festivals find the gallery along their route and Amoré welcomes an eclectic Cleveland crowd in the midst of the happenings of Little Italy. At the center of it all, Evelyn and Kate are passionate about painting with oil on canvas and creating prints to share with a broader audience through their textile brand EVELYN & KATE!
